Microsoft Launches Windows 8 Preview: Its features

Microsoft has come up with its latest launch, the new Operating system, Windows 8. The release preview (RTM version) of Windows 8 is undertaken by the developers. It is designed especially for touch screen gadgets viz. tablets and multi touch capacitive monitors. Nevertheless, it can be used on laptops and desktops. The full and final suite would be available from October 26, 2012 onwards. However, one can upgrade to its release preview, anytime. Features of Release Preview
Windows 8 comprises 300 or more additional features such as a tile-based user interface which makes it a new experience for larger displays. Microsoft has already confirmed that it would keep on enhancing the features until it comes to the final dispatch. Some major features are:

The Operating System contains USB 3.0 ports drivers for 10 times faster Copy and Paste than prior. This makes data transfer easier and faster.
